In early July, I joined a group of friends for a short weekend trip to Kukup, Malaysia and it was my third visit since August 2015. Make the jump to view the latest night photographs of this rustic fishing village.
It was a one-night stay and this time round, I got to make some night photographs of the fishing boats. These two photos show the rustic and kampong side of its village life. In reality, most of the residents turned their houses into Guesthouses which attracted many tourists/visitors, largely Singaporeans, for a short get-away from the hustle and bustle of the city life.

Next, I found this playground right outside a Chinese temple. Behind the temple, there's a basketball court where there are young teens playing in late hours.
I really like the color palette/theme in this night photo which is so tropical. I find them vibrant and pleasing. The colors complement one another very well against the warm purple night sky that shows this beautiful eggplant-like color gradient. Moreover, the star trails added up to this overall amazing shot.
